DJI MAVIC AIR 2 – Its Review, Features and Specification.
After the introduction of the Mavic Mini in late 2019, DJI decided to expand its product ranges to its consumers who are living in a budget life with the DJI Mavic Air 2 which resulted in the customer base of DJI immensely increasing within a short period of time. But when it comes to the high end or advanced users, they have many ideas and needs in their minds. The Mavic Mini plays a splendid role as a camera drone for its price range but unfortunately, when it comes to the features that these advance users look for, they fall short as they do not possess all their required features.
Therefore, in order to not have a flaw or a gap in their product ranges between the Mavic mini and the other higher end drones, DJI came up with the decision to declare an announcement regarding the DJI Mavic Air 2 which was even less than one year. This Mavic Air 2 was a more proficient and capable camera drone which even customers with budgeted needs can afford and yet fulfill all their requirements.
There are different types of consumers who look for drones for different purposes, some require the need for a drone just for a selfie while some other consumers require the drone for certain hardcore drone duties or can be referred to as hardcore drone enthusiasts. This Mavic Air 2 was hence invented with careful focus and attention to design in order to fulfill all these requirements of its customers.
The Mavic Air 2 plays an amazingly perfect role in its camera performance and it has the capability of longer flight time, that is approximately around 30 minutes of flight under real world conditions as well. Since there are many users who are beginners and are still learning to operate or fly a drone, the Mavic Air 2 includes the feature of obstacle avoidance in its front, rear and bottom which eventually gives peace to these beginner pilots. If you are a beginner, check DJI MAVIC AIR 2 Beginners Guide – Start Here to have a better idea on how to navigate your drone.
The Mavic Air 2 includes more photo and video options than that which most users will even thing of using or even which the users aren’t very aware of and It also includes many of the features when it comes to photo or videos that most of the DJI consumers will use all the time. It also possesses the OcuSync 2.0, which is DJI’s proprietary video transmission technology, which gives the right assurance of a clear image from the drone to the remote control in the hands of the user.
The Mavic Air 2 also includes the feature where it is capable of the intelligent tracking modes which helps the drone in allowing it to autonomously start following a person, a vehicle or a point of interest that the users set it up to while moving through various different spaces to change its perspective. The image or video the users receive at the end is like a movie making footage that gives us all the impression where it looks like it is straight out of a Hollywood movie!
The Mavic Air 2 also includes videos with the hyper lapse option, which produces a video with a motion time lapse that momentously speeds up the moving objects, for example like the clouds, cars and other things which travels through the scene across a linear or straight path. Unfortunately for the users, the hyper lapse feature for the videos is not very smooth and as expected as the same feature that is available for the higher end drones. Since the Mavic Air 2 is folded down into a very friendly and travel easy size, it weighs over 250 grams for which means that the Mavic Air 2 owners have to do a registration for the drone with the aviation authorities in many countries.
When it comes to buying a camera drone there are many things that all individuals have to consider and analyze before buying. But if users are looking for the camera drone that is just right for them which balances all its amazing performances with a good and affordable price, then users should definitely consider the Mavic Air 2. This newly introduces drone has many more features, abilities and enhancements than any of the lower cost camera drones, but unfortunately again does not include the premium features that many users would love to have, the one-inch camera sensor, just like the more expensive drones include.
This new introduced Mavic Air 2 was first introduced on the 27th of April 2020. Along with all its various improvements and developments with jaw dropping features, the Mavic air 2 comes with a great affordable price which can be a chief factor that many users should consider.
Let’s dig in a little bit into the accurate specifications of the Drone to get grasp a better understanding of it.
