Aqua Affinity Enchantment in Minecraft
When you are working underwater, such as mining underwater, this Aqua Affinity enchantment will help you in several ways. You might know that the mining speed underwater is less than the mining speed of land on Minecraft. By using this enchantment you can speed up this underwater mining process. You can achieve the same mining speed as land mining.
There are several things that you can do this enchantment into. After you do the enchantment to one of those items, you need to have them when you work underwater. Then only you can increase the speed of mining. So, the followings are those enchantable items.
- Enchanted Book
- Diamond helmet
- Golden helmet
- Iron helmet
- Leather cap
- Chain helmet
- Netherite Helmet
- Turtle shell
- died leather cap
This enchantment only works when you are underwater. Therefore, if you are mining on the land, or mining while floating on the water, this enchantment will not be needed.
The following is the enchantment command that you can use to enchant any of those helmets. This code is valid for any of the Minecraft editions you are using.
/enchant @p aqua_affinity 1
The best way to do the enchantment is by using an Enchanting Table. Otherwise, you can use an Enchanted book or you can find a villager who is willing to sell one. These ways are a bit harder to find. So, the best way is to craft a helmet or a turtle shell and enchant it on the Enchanting Table.
Crafting a Helmet
To craft whatever the helmet, you need to have 5 of the ingredients of the relevant raw material. If you need an Iron helmet, you need 5 Iron Ingots, If you need a Gold helmet you should achieve 5 Gold Ingots, and if you need a Diamond helmet, then you need 5 Diamonds. Now let's see how you can make a Diamond helmet.
- Collect 5 diamonds
- Open the Crafting Menu
- Place the diamonds in the pattern shown below
- Send the Diamond helmet to the inventory
Wear the Aqua Affinity enchanted helmet
Now, you can wear the Aqua Affinity enchanted helmet before going mining underwater. You can move your helmet from inventory to your Character Helmet box and you can now observe the helmet on your character's head.
